Being open to get feedback is a precious tool for learning and growing. If we do not ask for feedback we might not be giving ourselves all the chances to succeed.
How do we handle feedback?
We might fear it: Appreciation is important for us as human beings and so we are afraid of being judged in a “negative” way. Therefore we might not be willing to get out of our comfort zone and ask for feedback!
If we see deeply we may understand that what is actually judged is not us but ACTIONS.
Understanding this will help us to change our lives because:
ACTIONS can be modified at any time
If we modify our ACTIONS in a constructive way we can get better results at work and at home 🙂
By focusing on the ACTIONS we will be able to easily open ourselves to ask for feedback: we avoid making a personal affair and perceive external advice as a constructive tool.
How do big (or little) companies grow? They collect feedback and work with it to get better results & become successful.
We, as individuals, can do the same: be ready to get feedback, analyze the facts, set up your strategy and get on the road of success! (if your new strategy does not work…start over again it can only get better ☆ ).
